Milestones Updates:

Year 2007

• March 24 – first picture taken at the hospital
• March 19 – navel cord dropped
• April 9 – fingernails are cut
• April 29 – starts to wake up longer hours in the morning and sleeps longer hours in the evening
• May 23 – diagnosed with colic
• May 25 – I think or I want to believe his colic is starting to go away, he just cried a little less than the usual… just hope I’m right /and first time he is caught smiling in a photograph
• May 26 – his dad tried to let him suck his pacifier… I think he’s enjoying it
• June 13 – he slept through the night, slept at 7 pm then just woke up at 12 mn for milk and slept again til 4 am and drank his milk again then woke up at 7 am
• June 15 – lifted his head for about a minute while on his tummy
• *still has to look for the photo’s date* – hand sucking and hands can clasp together already
• @ 2 1/2 months – coos and smiles back when being talked at
• July 3 – Dee and I heard Dustin laugh so hard and so loud for several times just because I was letting him touch his dad’s arm and hand. It was when we went home for lunch during our break from work. My husband and I ended up laughing ourselves too because of Dustin’s laugh, it was hilarious and VERY precious.
• @ 3 1/2 months – Dustin can now turn sideways, most often at his left side. Can somehow control his hands in clasping things, but still has a hard time though he’s really trying.
• October 8 – Dustin mumbled the words MO-MI… slowly. Got teary eyed. My son called me!!!
• At 7 months, he coos more. So madaldal na.
• November 20 – He sat on his own twice. My mom saw it during lunch.
• November 24 – Just as he turned 8 months today, he showed me his new learned ability, I saw him sat on his own, thrice. His dad’s yet to witness this though.
• At 8 months, he learned how to crawl and stand up but still with help, of course.

April 24, 2007:

I’m always scared of putting Dustin to bed on his tummy, he’s so fragile and his neck is still wobbly but his Dad is the brave one and put him in this position, I’m glad Hubby did this or else I wouldn’t have a pretty photo of Dustin at 1 month old wearing one of his many onesies that Tita Bigz gave him.

Dustin just turned one month old today. He had his 2nd Hepa B vaccine and was a good boy the whole time, cried a little then drank his milk then slept the whole trip back home. We celebrated his being one month old during dinner at home, his Pops (my dad), bought food and we bought a cake for him.

January 13, 2007: We had our monthly check up and Baby D’s okay, 150 heart tones per minute with good variability which is normal and his fundic height is 26 cms. My current weight is 126 lbs and I’m 28 weeks and 3 days as of this date. My OB told me that we’ll stick to my original EDD which is April 4, 2007 so not to have confusion. From this date, I’ll be having my pre-natal check up every other week till my 36th week.

January 4, 2007: Ultrasound result with CAS is normal. We will have a Baby BOY!!! EDD is still the same. Next check up is January 13, 2007 {Saturday}. After that we’ll be busy preparing things for Baby D. Here’s the latest ultrasound taken last November 4, 2006. We didn’t have any good shot taken last December 16.

See his balls? And that long thing is not his “thingie”, I thought so before my OB explained that in fact it is his thigh.

December 2006: I had my Ultrasound with Congenital Anomaly Scan last December 16, 2006. Will update you next time… EDD still on April 4, 2007!!!

September 2006: As of today, from my very first ultrasound last August 24, 2006 my EDD will be on April4, 2007. And this ticker will change everytime I have my ultrasound. My next ultrasound is scheduled on November 4, 2006. Hopefully we’ll get to see his/her gender but I have this gut feeling that she/he will be a HE. Just a guess that I’m quite sure of. We’ll see!
